Had an amazing Easter getaway with friends at a cozy cabin surrounded by breathtaking views. Loved the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance. The cleanliness and comfy beds made our stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were friendly and helpful, providing us with information about local attractions.

The shower temperature was a bit low and couldn't be adjusted. The pod door didn't lock properly, which made us a little uneasy.

We had a fantastic stay at Howe Of Torbeg. the location was perfect, with a beautiful river just down the hill from our pod. It was incredibly peaceful, and we loved being able to listen to the soothing sound of the flowing river from our comfortable bed. the pod itself was great - well-equipped and cozy. the hosts were wonderful, making sure everything was up to standard. the amenities, including the private fire pit and the communal cabin with essentials, added to the overall convenience of our stay. the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the entire site was immaculate.

We wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely recommend this place to others. Cons: Nothing could have been better.

my recent stay in ballater was wonderful, but howe of torbeg exceeded all expectations. the hosts were incredibly helpful, showing us around and making sure we had everything we needed. the views were breathtaking and the peacefulness was unmatched. the facilities were well thought out and the beds surprisingly comfortable.

Breakfast was a disappointment. too expensive for what you get.

Lovely pods with unblocked views, own barbecue and sitting area. Clean and comfortable with good heating. Wood and cutlery onsite. Clean shared bathrooms and hot tea available. Woke up to the sound of nature. Great stay.

We had a great stay at this charming accommodation. the hosts were friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. the on-site shop was a convenient touch, as we inevitably forgot something for our barbeque. the scenery was stunning, and the outside fire pits were a great addition for a cozy evening.

We did not have any negative experiences during our stay. Everything was well maintained and the facilities were immaculate.

Our stay at Howe of Torbeg was nothing short of incredible. From sitting by our private campfire, gazing at the stars, to watching cows pass by our pod window as we sat in bed, it was a truly unforgettable glamping experience. The pods and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable, and we appreciated the little tea shack. The location, nestled in a beautiful valley with a river below, was perfect for relaxation and exploration. The owners were extremely helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

    No complaints 😊.

Had a fantastic weekend glamping with friendly staff and a beautiful location near hiking spots. the fire pits were a highlight, perfect for roasting marshmallows and creating a cosy atmosphere. the cabins were clean and well-maintained, and we loved the extra touches like fresh croissants delivered in the morning. Great for families with young kids, giving them a taste of camping without the hassle.

There were a few too many mice for comfort, and parking was a bit chaotic for larger cars. the toilet facilities could have been better, with limited showers and long queues.

What a gem of a place! We had a lovely one night stay at this cozy glamping spot. The staff were super friendly and the location was perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings. The fire pit bundle was a highlight, allowing us to have a proper glamping experience with s'mores and all. We also appreciated the cleanliness and tidiness of the site, making it a comfortable stay.

While our overall experience was great, there were a few downsides. there were some mice scurrying around, which made us a bit uncomfortable, especially since we had food around.

We really got our money's worth with our stay at Howe Of Torbeg. The pod was cozy and clean, and the location was absolutely stunning, especially waking up to unexpected snow in May. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even finding the perfect bedding for our toddler.

One small improvement for breakfast selection would be to have a covered area for cooking when the weather isn't great.

We had such a wonderful time at Howe Of Torbeg! The location was breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, with a lovely fire pit outside where we enjoyed cooking meals and toasting marshmallows. The hosts, Nicole and Iain, were incredibly helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The toilet and shower facilities were spacious and clean, providing a comfortable experience. The views from the cabin were stunning and waking up to the sound of the river below was so tranquil. we had an amazing stay and highly recommend Howe Of Torbeg for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

While we had a fantastic time, we did encounter a few minor drawbacks. there was only one large towel and one hand towel provided for our four-day stay, which wasn't sufficient for daily showers.

I had the most incredible stay at Howe Of Torbeg in the beautiful countryside. The Shepherd's Hut I stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and meticulously designed with thoughtful details. From the cozy bedding to the well-insulated interior, everything was perfect. The Tea Shack was an absolute delight, and it's evident that this property was made with love. The location was superb, with stunning views of the hills and great hiking opportunities in the Cairngorms. The staff were friendly and the bathrooms were clean and convenient. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hidden gem.

My partner and I stayed at Howe Of Torbeg for a weekend getaway. Nicole, our host, was incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable local knowledge and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The office/shop had everything we needed, from food supplies to maps and souvenirs. The cabins were cozy, well-equipped with power sockets, lights, and heaters. We loved the firepit and picnic bench, and the clean and modern shower facilities. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature reserves and attractions like Braemar and Balmoral made our stay even more enjoyable.

    Would recommend this hotel.
